Handbook developed within the EU co-funded project Active Charter Training Through Interaction of National Experiences (ACTIONES)
Module 1 is dedicated to the scope of application of Charter rights and principles and the relation of the Charter with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and national standards. It provides an overview of the most relevant general provisions including references to the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union. The handbook is structured according to the logical path of reasoning of a national judge facing a case to which the Charter may be relevant.
