Handbook developed within the EU co-funded project Active Charter Training Through Interaction of National Experiences (ACTIONES)
Module 3 of the Actiones Handbook series is dedicated to the right to an effective remedy, which has been acknowledged as a general principle of EU law and has acquired the status of primary law being included as Article 47 in the Charter.
The handbook refers to case law of the CJEU, the interrelation between Article 47 and Articles 6 and 13 of the ECHR and explores the content, limits and requirements of the right's guarantees.
