The relevance of Charter rights in the area of criminal law is adressed in Module 7 of the Actiones Handbook series. It provides

• a general overview on the development of EU Criminal Law and its influence upon national criminal law.
• case law from the CJEU and national courts on issues concerning harmonising measures built on mutual trust and mutual recognition
